With adding all of the extra lights and other things, I know the electric systems of these old things are delicate and I don’t want to burn my truck down. So I’m looking to see what wire or wires you are using for key on power for everything you guys are running pictures would be a bonus

First thing you want to do on these trucks is put the headlight on relays, that takes a heavy load off the system and usually provides better lights, then any extra heavy draw accs. also get relays

 

I decided not to scab onto existing "key on" locations and added a Painless Wiring box straight off the battery. I used the one with 6 fuses but they come in different sizes plus different companies.
