k&n and pyro
Save your money and your engine and get a BHAF or open the stock airbox and snorkel to it. I think the big restritction is the tiny opening in the airbox and tube leading to it.
As far as the pyrometer goes, install the probe in the manifold. You can do it with a drill and tap for whichever size hole you need (1/8 or 1/4 NPT). Drill the hole about 1-1.5" back fro the turbo-to-manifold flange. Drill a little rearward of center, as it is a divided manifold. Drilling dead center will creat problems, BTDT. Put some grease on your bit and on your tap. Go slowly, and you should be ok. I dont even remove the turbo anymore to do it. If it will make you feel better, you can sweep the hole with a magnet for the debris left over.
