i just bought an airesearch huge turbo it as a compressor a/r of .96 and a exhaust a/r of 1.50 is it useable for (twins) or compounds which they should be called exhaust outlet is 5inch v band.

I ALL READY BOUGHT IT BUT HERE IS THE ADD ON CRAIGSLIST,will post my own pics soon.

got some more measurments air inlet is 5 1/2'' air outlet 3 1/2" both outside nembers and the exhaust is 5" with a bolt pattern of about 4 3/8" by 2 3/4"

air inlet at the comp wheel is 3 1/4"

 

Sounds like a huge turbo. Probably capable of around 350hp+. Im sure you can use any turbo to make compounds, it just depends on how much lag you want from something that big. Do you have any performance injectors? Once that thing lights it should take off pretty good.

 

no injectors yet the stock ones flow quite a bit of fuel though but with fuel $ everything is on the low side for settings, first i have to finish the intercooler install and get my gds upgrade, then i might put on that monster.

it would work great as a door stop, it is in good condition though, might try it just because i can.

 

You should ask questions before you buy.

 

wasn't to outragous in price and i might be able to trade to someone else if i don't use it.

 

what makes it a bad turbo anyway?
