Just bought another CTD
Well I just couldn't hold back, even though I already have an 89 1 ton 2-wheel drive, I had to buy another.
I now have a 93 3/4 ton 4x4 LE,automatic trans
with only 93,000 miles on it. At $4,500 I figure I did alright.
Now I think I finely have got a good auto trans. set up in my 89 (727). After the 3rd rebuild in 30,000 miles I finely put the heavy torque converter for RV/towing, and plumbed my A/C condenser in to the trans for a larger cooler and put a temp gauge in as well.
My question is, I here the trans in the 93 (I think its a 518, it has overdrive) is weaker yet, is there any thing I can do to prolong the life in it? Or just put a temp gauge in it and wait for it to blow.
Thanks
