Johny5's Crew Cab

So this all started when i found a 93 club cab on craigslist back in the summer for $2500.
Not having a crew cab I started looking around. There were a few locally but the were $3-$4000 and rusty.
I started looking in southern states and found some they were good deals but the sold quickly or they didnt run.
A friend of mine was heading to Colorado to buy a rock buggy,so I checked Craigslist and there was one.Its turns our the guy had brought it up from
Arizona and only wanted $2500.
She was bone stock and rust free and made it all the way to the west coast of Canada.
My plan was to just drop the 12 valve in and go but that didnt work out.
Heres the pics of the current progress....

Nice job. Looks like your painting the truck close to the same color my dad painted his cummins crew. I need to post pics of his iguess, I've noticed though with blue it seems like people like to hit them. My sisters car got repainted blue and with in a couple months someone hit and run, And 1 month after getting dads repainted blue someone backed into the drivers door and ran. But i'm pretty sure i know who done it but can't prove it. Oh well. i guess.

Thanks guys.
Im not keeping track of how much its going to cost or time , mostly because its going to be too much.
One of the things I did was through in a new clutch and a smaller turbo housing.
oh and a new rear main seal.
As for where in Arizona it came from , Im not sure (anyone know where the red sand is from?) .
The great thing is there is zero rust and not one bolt broke
Oh and the odometer reads 99k (not that it maters i cant give away the gas pot).
I'll have todays pics up later

Thanks , I didnt get too much done this weekend. My dad showed up with his truck wanting to fix the roof after a camper indecent.
I had a hard time not fixing the whole truck, lucky for me he only had a few hours .

He also got tagged by a snow plow so we spent some time on that too..

Took the back doors down for sand blasting earlier in the week but didn't want to blast the outer skins in fear of warping them. One door i sanded , the other i used paint stripper on . Im still not sure what was quicker .

Oh also hippo lined inside the cab last week too
