Thanks the pics will be here after the weekend, and yes im planning on some new rims, the tires are like new so im going to run them.
And I drove the truck today! Got registered and insurance today .
Took it to the closes gas station that sells diesel , filled up and the truck wouldn't restart, turns out I ran out of fuel or sucked air in as I backed up to the pump.
So Im cranking away thinking how Im going to crack the fuel lines with no tools when I look over to the service bays and the mechanics are watching me . So sheepishly I walk over and ask to borrow a wench.
The one of the mechanics says sure I'll grab you a 10 mm wrench and walks away, I then look in the shop and there's a mint first gen sitting in the far bay. Thinking to myself oh good they know these trucks,it was the the guy own truck with 130km on it.
We BS'ed about each others trucks and had to crack some injector lines and got my truck running,
later on I dropped off a case of beer for the guys .

Were you over on the rock wheeling on the weekend?
We used to have grat wheeling here and now all we have is gates. Sold my buggy and now ride bikes. Had to go around 3 gates on a nice casual ride yesterday.

Sorry theres not much of a build thread , I bought it almost finished from Ontario Canada and had it shipped 3000 miles to BC and finished it up , then broke it and have been rebuilding ever since ,
It has a chev 4.3 V6, th 350, STak transfer case and 35 spline dana 60 on 40 inch tires

Oh boy i took the truck to PDR this morning for a new gov spring and a fuel pin,
I have to say after I finished the truck and got it on the road I was a bit disappointed at how she pulled . she only had about 500 rpm of usable power , and not enough when shifting .
But now shes awsome , pulls hard from 1200 rpm to 2500.
I didnt get to drive it around much because I had to get back home and into the work van and off to work , but what a difference
