Finally got my hx-35 on. Took me about 2 hours with no major hangups. Took a test drive and wow! It whistles more then a 6.0 I do believe. Saw 30 lbs of boost and let out of it. I'm not used to that, especially when it's still climbing. Definitely ordering a pyrometer this payday. Don't worry too much Dave, I've had it turned down close to stock since spring, with the exception of my two pulls. I'll let yal know how it feels after I drive it some more(but so far good).

You haven't hooked up the wastegate yet, have you?

I'm sure the EGT's are much better now, especially at low RPM.

Feels like a whole different truck now, doesn't it?

 

That's what I haven't figured out yet, The rod is connected and the boost line and fittings are there and connected. I don't know if it's aftermarket or if something's wrong with it. I'm gonna call my friend when i get off work tomorrow to see if he knows what the deal is. For now I can handle using my foot to control it though.

 

Yeah if I hook my waste gate up I don't see more than 18-19 lbs of boost and the top end sucks!! If I unhook the boost line than I see 28lbs of boost and it pulls hard to there. I think your wastegate is not working for sure.
