In my dually I noticed that the front end would do a kind of shimmy when I'm cruzing round 55-60. I figured ball joints so I won't go that fast until I look into it more, but then I drove my truck today to get rid of scrap metal my truck would want to kind of walk a not so straight line down a staright road. I would have to keep correcting the steering. Do you think it's the joints just getting worse or something more?

 

Check the steering coupler and make sure the frame isn't cracked where the steering box mounts.

 

You dont have ball joints on your axle. You got king pins. Jack up the front and start wiggling on parts to find whats loose. Check that frame also. I have seen them crack there

 

I know I have developed a shimmy but I think its my tq converter or my tires. I would look into those areas if I were you also

 

I had front tires that were poorly balanced cause a shimmy in the wheel at 50 to 55. A good re balance and all is well again.
