Question Isspro 6591 Tach install

How do I wire this in? Is there a module/sensor for a pickup on the alt. or how does that work? Its an early 91 so theres no tach pickup already on the truck. Thanks.

From what I understand you have to take your alternator to a shop to get them to wire a tach output for it... As far as the specific tach, I cant help you there.

You got a part number or a link for that bad boy?

Just found it, it only works on electronic injection diesel engines.

According to the ISSPRO website, any two-pulse per revolution sender will drive it. (Page 39 of their catalog).

Can't readily find one there though.

R8912-92 is for 92-93 with the plug under the dash for all connections. 20-40$ egauges.com, $51.39 through Isspro, $38.54 through usdieselparts.com, $21.83 through piersdiesel.com, or do what I did wire it with your own wire and fittings for nothing.
R8912 is for 89-91 Tach sensor kit pre 92 $59.05 at egauges.com.
$73.81 with glue, $59.26 w/out glue through Isspro.
these were all prices on the website as of March 07.
