intercooler psi quistion...

how much psi can a stock intercooler system hold? stock boots and all... anyone know?

Only guessing here but i now they will hold over 40 and probably more like 60+

seam like i remember reading some wares........maybe it was PDR but there intercoolers were rated at.......seem like a 100 PSI

yes, i saw that on BD diesels website, thats why i was wondering what the stock one holds.

I don't know what they are rated to, but mine has seen 45 a couple of times and 40 regularly. I cannot beleive the crusty old boots haven't blown.

I had mine to 56 psi a lot for a couple of years. Was still fine when I pulled it out for the PS cooler about a year ago.
