Intake manifold sensors?????
Intake manifold sensors?????
I installed a Banks twin ram intake onto my '92 and the banks intake only has one threaded hole for a sensor. The original intake had two!!! What are these sensors for? Are they both necessary? Can I run without one for a short time?
Thank you
Thank you
One is the sensor for the grid heaters, the other is the switch for the KSB. This time of year you could leave either one hang. If you don't add another hole, put the one for the KSB in the manifold. They both need to be plugged in though.

I simply followed the OEM intake-log cover-plate and drilled/tapped a second hole for the other sensor. No big whoop.
From a while back . . .

(I am SO glad I replaced those injector lines with a set I folded myself. I call those the "Pig-Tail" set.
