i'm gonna install this turbo soon. ordered the block off from ats for the eletric stuff.

please let me in on any tips/tricks or hints on installing this or any other turbo for the matter. i have to make a downpipe, so i need to source the holset endcap.

please, lets hear all about your install! i'm worried about the oil feed and return lines!

 

the oil lines will work with no problem. you just have to clock the turbo to line them up. It is a pain to clock the turbo though. you have to loosen the vband and the snap ring both. I ended up using needle nose vice grips to do this. You need realy big snap ring pliers and i couldnt find any local. you will have to weld up and fabricate IC piping as well. you just need a 4in vband flange and 4in ex pipe to weld together to make th DP work, Overall its easy as long as you can weld ex pipe
