What is a super 40 turbo and what is so special about it and what did it come in?

 

A Super 40 should be a Super HX40. It is an upgraded version of an HX40. It has stronger shafts (from what I have been told) and is supposed to flow more air than a regular HX40.

I'm not sure what applications a Super HX40 will come on.

 

I don't think it was on any application, my understanding is that its a performance turbo put out by holset.
