Installed DDP's... have some questions

The DDP stage III's I ordered came in yesterday so today after work I popped them in, first thing I noticed it dropped my idle which I know is because it retards the timing. Not a big deal its a 5-speed. But my question is when you roll into the throttle the truck starts to pull hard then hits a serious flat spot in the power around 2400-2800 RPM, then around 3K it starts to come back to life. With the stock injectors it never did this. My question is where should I start adjusting my pump to correct this? It has a 3200K spring, 3/16 timing bump, 1 1/2 turns on power screw, and Denny T stage II. Truck is pretty stock other than that.

Do you still have the factory lift pump? My truck did about that same thing when I first turned the pump up. Once I put in a lift pump it pulled hard all the way to the top.

The lift pump is a stock one, would a piston lp keep up?

No FP gauge in my truck, but my LPLP seemed to keep up with my maxed pump and non-IC'd injectors, and seems to be fine with 5x14s and the pump backed off a bit.

I suppose it depends on your future plans. The piston pump does have it's limitations, even the higher pressure one.
