Injectors???
Nope. In my many conversations with Brian Block about this very subject, he informed me that the guys breaking shafts with the HX40's are the high horsepower (500+rwhp) P-Pump pulling trucks. I have never heard (nor has he) of any 1st Gen breaking shafts, even in sledpulling. He has one (it may be a Super) on his tow rig, and if he was concerned with it, you can bet it wouldn't be on his rig.
Jungle, HX40's were never OEM on our trucks. There were some semis with 8.3L Cummins' (I believe) that did have them from the factory. As far as I know, the Super HX40's were never offered on any engine.

you won't hurt one. even the 500hp VE pump guys say that, P-pumpers usually run them in a twins setup or have WAYY to much fuel (more than a ve can produce) and thats why they blow.
I like the POD's in my truck, good power great price. But if ur going to do any thing at all w/ your truck they are easy to outgrow, lol. Save ur money and get some 435's or some custom injectors buy them once! I love my HX40 no problems yet, and its been in front of the sled a few times now.
