How about extrude honing the nozzles?

What kind of injectors are you wanting to hone out? Your POD'S or some you have laying around. I had my injectors honed out, but I am not sure who did them. I bought them from Bradleys Diesel Injection Service out of Oregon. They send them out, to get honed, but they can rebuild them for you too. You might want to get in touch with Don M, he does EDM's for 1st gens on a custom basis and they are allegedly more powerful than POD's with less smoke.

 

The injectors are from BD, and the cores are stock Bosch. I haven't pulled one apart to see the nozzle mfg. I don't know how many things will fly out at me if I unscrew them!

 

Looks like the BD's I have are PN 1040175, which are 40hp upgrades to the stock units. The nozzles have 5 holes, as opposed to the POD's 4.

I'd like to get them cleaned and honed!
