Injector question?

What is the difference between 1st and 2nd gen injectors? I know there is a size difference but where on the injector is diffrent. Can a 2nd gen injector be used in a 1st gen (what mods needed)? Are the heads interchangeable??

Just trying to learn more things so thanks for the help.

The largest 2nd gen injector is smaller than the smallest 1st gen injector nozzle.

The body is also different, 1st gens use a 12mm thread and the 2nd gen uses a 14mm thread, pop pressures are also different, much higher on a 2nd gen.

The cylinder heads will interchange.

The pop pressure is different and so is the angle on the injector line inlet seal. The tips are interchangeable though.
