Info center on the fritz!
My info lights (brake, wait to start, water in fuel, and ABS) are and have always been on the fritz, when I got the truck I discovered that they didn't work. Found them to unplugged, plugged them in and now the brake and ABS are on all the time, and the water in fuel and wait to start only come on when I hit the starter. Any ideas as to what the problem(s) might be?
well , teh obvious ( and you 've probably checked this) is to check the ground.
If you look at the wiring diagram,it shows which wire coming from the Info Center is the ground curcuit( IIRC its an orange/white)
Check the wiring to the RWAL at the rear diff and at the valve located on the drivers side frame rail about half way back the bed.
You can also try "resetting" the PCM by disconnecting the battery for about an hour... someone posted that worked for them.

I no longer have teh wiring diagram. It is floating around here somewhere( 91.5 wiring diagram-might be in teh stickey) but if I recall correctly, the ground was for the entire info center plug...and was pin #5 in teh diagram..but it has been about a year since I looked at it....
