I got this new down pipe free with a turbo I bought to day dose anyone know if it will fit a 1gen truck link to pipe http://www.industrialinjection.com/id48.html I am going to have to change the flange to 3" to work with the turbo if it will work . but for free I can cut it up for the bends. Ken

 

You'll have to use a 3" cast elbow off the exhaust outlet, like what came on the back of a stock HX35, that will point the exaust down and then the 4" downpipe WILL work with a little "tweaking" of the firewall (not that big of a deal).

What turbo did you buy that has a 3" exhaust outlet?

I just took a 2nd gen elbow and 4" downpipe, and then ran flex exhaust tubing around the transfer case very easy and not very expensive either.

 

This down pipe is for a hx40 in a 2gen truck the upper end is a 4" v band so it doesn't use the elbow. Industrail diesel's picture is upside down. ken

 

RSWORDS thanks for the link did it clear the cab ok. My truck is a 2wd so I dont have to snake around the transfer case. Thanks Ken
