IM STUMPED and in need of more fuel

Guys i am stumped i got a new converter and have a good valve body in my th400 The truck loads up more now but is only getting 1200 egts with all the mods i have. I have the stock Non intercooled injectors which are from waht i hear good for 300 horse,The power screw is maxed i have full travel with a properly indexed pump and i have gone over the truck again and again. I will be getting an intercooler eventually and fuel mileage is really not an issue but i dont really want pods. is there any better way to get more power for a decent price. Opinions on injectors would definitly help. Maybe i have more timing than i need but it only looks like 1/8th of an inch past the mark. i want more than what i have right now. I think a set of sticks would be promising

There was a guy here that had some 4X.018" 's cut and said they pull extremely hard. I think that most guys can get alot out of rebuilding and EDM'ing thier stock injectors. But you could get some adapters and a set of 435's and be just as happy I'm sure.

Something must be wrong. I have a powerstoke intercooler, suber b s300, 4 inch stans exhaust, k&n filter and with my stock non i/c sticks I can hit 1500 easy. I have my stock converter in my 727. Pods won't do much over the stock non i/c sticks and will lower mpg.

I think a fuel pressure guage would be a good investment. Make sure your delivery is up to par.

have you tried switching out your pyro for another one to make sure it is reading right? Like stated above get a fuel pressure gauge too. with the fuel you have you should be getting hotter than 1200 degrees with just the gillette upgrade.

Did you take the lock collar off of the power screw?

You might need to weld an 1/8" extension to the end of the power screw.

That's what I was thinking, your egt probe. An intercooler will give you quite a bit more power. Forget about 300hp without one.

Probe is in the manifold pre turbo i will check my fuel pressure i have a nice auto meter mechanical gauge that isnt hooked up yet. I dont really want to pipe fuel into the cab but if i have to so be it for the time being. where would i hook the gauge up to? i believ it is a 1/8npt female fitting. the fuel filter has less than 1000 miles on it. Could my fuel lines be to small? Also i have the 18.5 cm exhaust housing could that be part of the culprit? thanks guys for the input

What Im thinkin is your lift pump aint pushin the fuel. 1200 seems pretty cool for maxed fuel on non i/c injectors.

Does it smoke when the boost is up and your on it?

I dont think the 18cm housing is hurting you with the auto.

How much boost does it make?

i put an air dog 100 on with a water/air intercooler at the same time before redding in june. the truck really ran better. the injectors really got happy but the egts went up such that i think if i hadn't put the intercooler on i wouldn't be able to drive it. you prob need 15# of fuel to the pump reliably. it would make a big dif. elec. pump also gives you a reliable shut down. mine won't siphon with the pump off. my experience only. tc.

Bgibert yes you can get 300, you can even get 390. Second not all pumps respond to full fuel tuning, some just cant supply more fuel.

I always speak of fuel only. Fuel only in my world.
