Ignition Switch Troubles

Guys, i need help...my ignition switch went bad and im trying to change it out i dont have the tilt steering and a guy here told me i had to pull the steering wheel so i did. now im stuck thought i would be able to get right to the locking pin but i cant. ive checked the sticky & havent had much luck... can any one help me out or lead me in the right direction? any help would be greatly appreciated and pics would be awesome...thanks again

Ignition switch, or key cylinder? The switch is up under the dash, hooked to the key cylinder out on the column by a rod on a 90.

There are two plugs on it. You should have power to the red and the pink wires. Check that first. I think the best way to get the switch out is to drop the column.

its the cylinder lock, not the actual switch...need any info or pics...does the signal light mechanism have to come out im lost

thanks alot guys, finally got it done, wasnt too bad once i figured out what was going on. it took up all my time so next weekend im tackling the 366 spring and denny t. i also got the borgeson installed and wow does it drive awesome now. thanks again
