whats your timing set at? try to limit pre boost fuel using the afc to help the turbo light quiker. since the ve doesnt fuel well at high rpm you need to spool up quik before you run out of fuel/rpm. since you have 6x16 stixs put the stock fuel cone back in to tune it. your powere band appears narrow.the compressor upgrade is just a band-aid. a better turbo might help.

i thought you ran about 330hp not long ago? at least that's what i can recall reading in the last article in diesel power about more fuel and boost equaling less power. i remember you running closer to 350hp sometime ago. that couldn't have been a nitrous run could it? your sig says 448hp on n2o. of course in the article, you hadn't installed your pre-turbo wastegate yet. i see you have it installed now. could that have something to do with it? btw, where'd you get the brass electrical bushing you clamped to the throttle cable at the pedal?

His timing is mainly stock, thats why his fuel numbers are so low. timing is a must when you have 6x16's but he can't give it too much timing because of N20.

I have a carter lift pump....I know the numbers aren't great, but 1st there's timing, and second, it's a 727, so the converter is costing about 40 hp. Got the little brass "spacer" for my throttle pedal from Home Depot in the electrical section.

How can it be the tranny if you've already put 448 through it ??

Don't know how many miles are on it, but 448 might have been enough to make them the last good miles left in it.

I doubt it, he's got some hard parts in it. clutches/bands etc.

I think he means the converter.

Too bad you don't go to the events up this way. Stomp could probably take your HP up a notch or two. Tom C. was pretty happy with the results when Jeremy spent a little time on his before last years event. But then 312 is a pretty good number for a stock beater.
