hey guys, whats a good service manual for the 12v CTD? i bought the haynes book for my truck a few years ago, and for some reason the deisel wasnt listed in it. everything in there is accurate with the truck though, so it has been helpful. but now, i'm having to work on my truck and need to know exactly what everything on there is.

Believe me, it's worth the price. Way better than any Chilton or Haynes. This is a case where you do get what you pay for.

 

If you've got the time, you might want to try eBay Motors, that's where I've bought all but one of mine. The oddball I bought used from Amazon.com's used books section.

IIRC there was a tip about buying a '93 version instead of the earlier ones bc ?. I think it had something to do with the NV4500 but my '92 FSM includes a section on the NV4500.

EDIT: Just learned from another post on this forum that the 'missing' info in '92 & earlier mnls was for the Getrag NOT the NV4500. Thnx wannadiesel.

 

thanks, im still looking around for a manual. the ones in the first link are too expensive for me. i want one for less than 30.00 bux. i'll let you know if i find one.
