i am moving on.

well guys i am moving on, i put the truck on ebay. if you want the item number feel free to pm me or e-mail me as i dont want to make this some kind of ad for the clasifieds. its been real fun toying with the turbo diesel world but i think i am back to gas for no other reason than i want 4x4 and a little more modern look. i cant afford a newer turbo diesel so that leaves me with a gasser. Thanks alot guys!!

sorry to hear it, hope whatever you find treats you well. and i can fully understand the issue of cost of a newer model pushing you away. keep your eyes open though, you may just get lucky finding a reasonably priced p-pump truck!

You may be back someday,,,, you surely won't be the first to leave the CTD world and then miss that old feeling further on down the road. Good luck!

Feel free to post your truck in our Classifieds section so maybe one of our members can take it off your hands. It's really a nice looking rig!

Don't hesitate to stop in and say 'hi' regardless of what you're driving You'll grow to miss the organic nature of the original before long...

Wayne, don't do it! How could you leave this family! Our 1st gens are a most sought after item...just today a guy sees me turn off of the freeway, passes the turn off and goes to the next turn off which was 2 miles down, doubled back to barely catch me to ask If I would ever consider selling my truck. Come to find out he already has 2 1st gens!
If it's not a financial thing with you you should hang onto the 1st gen until you find a 4x4 1st gen. You will not like a gasser, trust me. Can you say smog fees?
The beverly hillbillies look of our trucks are going to be a classic! There's nothing like fooling illiterate people with our powerful, modded trucks. Don't do it, man! You will miss the ROAR of the straight pipe...you will.

I can understand your decision, I hope you find what your after. If you see the thread where to go from here, i would certainly like to hear your opinion. Im like you in that i wanted one and got one. And to experience heading over a mountain pass in fifth gear with barely touching the throttle is an experience to be savored. Hope to hear from you again in the future.

Exclamation

Don't be mad when some one in a first gen blows smoke all over your newer gasser, When your going up a hill and yours is flat on the floor,An the first gen is hooked to a 30 foot goose neck pulling away. All jokes a side don't do it u will be sick, I have seen other's do this and they were sorry. Thats the reason I started the friends don't let other friends change over to gassers fondation. Belive me it hurts

Every time you jam the peddle to the flow at 60 mile per hour......you'll wish you had the torque of the cummin back beneath the steering will
Good luck on the sale, and stop in every once in a will to say hay!
