What does boost pressure have to do with anything?

If you have the pump mods to support a bigger turbo, then run a bigger turbo. Adding higher boost psi does nothing without supporting fuel mods..If what you have now with your mods, is running high EGT's. A bigger flowing turbo will cool it off.

If all you want is a lot of boost, then stick with your baby H1C. With equal amounts of fuel, the baby H1C will produce a lot more boost than an HX40. If you decide you'd rather have performance, the Super HX40 would be the way to go given those options, however an S300 would be better suited for all out performance.

I hope your not plannin on runnin 50 pounds with a stock head gasket. More boost doesn't necessarily mean more power. You need more air flow as you will get from a bigger turbo.

I'd listen to Riflemanusmc, he's a good guy. i sold him my 92 half ton a few weeks ago. He told me to go with the super 40 just because of the fact that it doesnt hurt it if you "bark" the turbo. the shaft is stronger.

ahh lets see if i can explain what they are talking about as far as psi to power......just because your running high boost pressure doesnt mean that your adding as much power as possible what your looking for is high volume of air......for instance installing bigger intercooler tubes will lower your boost pressure but will not hurt your power....because the same if not more volume of air is being pushed into the motor....there for lowering egt's and helping power....i hope that makes it clear as mud for you...

X2. PSI (pressure) is a measure of restriction, not flow.
