Anyone with a hx40 w/true 4" downpipe with a pic they can post or direct me too? I'm just about ready to install my hx40-16w. I've bought a 40- 4" downpipe from a 2nd gen. But I'm sure it doesn't drop down fast enough to work on my 1st gen. So I need to figure out if a short radius 90*elbow or ?? will work welded up. Just looking for some ideas, thanks in advance. If you have a 2wd you should be able to just about bolt it in as is. As far as i understand its just the 4wd first gens that have trouble with 4" downpipes dropping fast enough, and snakeing around the T-case.
