hx35 question

This has probably been answered before but as far as this turbo goes (hx35) is it pretty much a direct bolt on. Anything else need to be modded on this upgrade? Can I just throw this turbo on my truck and be fairly happy or should I worry about anything else?

Other than adapting it to a non I/C engine it should be pretty easy. Getting one for my rig soon.

It is a direct bolt on, the only thing you will have to get is the oil feed line adapter that goes in the top of the turbo. The non ic turbo's hose thread right into the turbo center section without a adapter and the newer ic trucks and all hx 35 have a larger oil inlet on the turbo center section that is the reason you need a adapter with out it the oil line will not tread into the turbo.

if the hx35 is from a 98.5 or newer (i belive thats the year they switch correct me if i am wrong) you will won't be able to use your downpipe in stock form. They use a different elbow.

You will have to come up with a way to attach the turbo outlet to the crossover tube. I think that would be the trickiest part.
