How to tell if lift pump is done??
truck won't run over 60mph all of the sudden. How do I tell if the lift pump stopped pumping? I don't have time to wait for a new banjo bolt to hook up a gauge, cause I gots ta go! any help?

That sounds more like filter blockage or line blockage.
The VE-pump will run as well without a lift-pump as with.
Get a gauge on there when possible; they are well worth it.

Mine too,
I was in the drive through at Jack N the Box when the lever broke.
Luckily my peeps saw me in the monitor and came running out to block traffic and pushed the truck into the parking lot, where I was able to replace the lift pump and be on my way.

All very good info. My filter is new but I got a new pump anyway, cause I pulled the pump and guess what, no sucky sucky. I will get a gauge on there and check all my lines. Thanks

Yes and Ours is Carl's Junior, NOT Hardees!
I ran with a stuck non working LP, towing a 28' TT from Seattle to Sacramento, and then well after that just fine. I realized that it needed a new one when it started more and more constantly loosing prime and falling flat on it's face when floored from a standstill.

Yes,
Jack in the Box is a fast food Eat in or Drive Through restaurant just like McDonald’s or Carls Jr. and they are very popular on this side of the country.
We also do have Steak Houses where you can spend an easy $100.00 for 2 people.
Ill take a guess that you have not heard of In N Out Burger either.
I guess things go a bit slower where you are but here in Southern California everybody is in a rush to get someplace myself included.
As my day winds down I will usually visit either one on my way home for something to eat.
Like I said, I am so predictable that they know my order by the sound of my truck.

Normally, when people flash their lights at me, I punch the brakes. Hey, I must have something getting ready to fall off and they are being good Samaritans and trying to tell me about it, right? Well, in this case, just letting off the pedal (completely) was enough to get them to pass in a real hurry, horn blaring and finger waving. If you want to drive 80 MPH, get in the hammer lane.
Somewhere there is a Hooters Casino, I heard an ad on the radio for it the other day. I hear if you get a jackpot, you get to take a waitress home.
I had never heard of that until I mentioned to some friends I was gonna spend winter in SoCal, then everyone told me "Oh, you HAVE to eat at In 'n Out". So when I finally saw one I pulled in and ordered my burgers, other than them being fairly cheap, I didn't find anything special about them. Maybe you can tell me what I am failing to appreciate.

No, we ain't hardly in such a hurry where eating is concerned.
We frequent a place where we can walk through the herd, hand-pick the steer, and eat our salad and appetizers while they slaughter and cook it to order; I always take home a doggie-bag for snacking later.
Two of us can usually eat there for around thirty-bucks; a little steep, but it is good.
