How often are you changing fuel filters?
I put about 600 miles per week on my rig which means I'm changing oil and filter every two months. I do it when the odometer hits an increment of 5,000. I've been kind of just blindly draining and changing the fuel filter, not really paying much mind to it. I guess I need to get a fuel pressure gauge.

summit 20psi gauge + tapped banjo bolt are approx $20 total.
or isspro lit gauge for $50 more underhood bling :-)
Peace of mind. Short grease gun hose with male to female coupler almost eliminates needle swings and saves gauge.
$25 fuel snubbers not as effective as grease gun hose.
Needle valve to eliminate gauge bounce unreliable long term.

How does the grease gun hose help? Just the bigger diameter lets it hold a lot more fuel than a 1/16" plastic line? What it the male to female coupler for? Are we just talking a normal pipe coupler to make the connection or a special grease coupler?
Dampening by virtue of length. NOT a pun.
normal npt coupler to adapt male hose end to male gauge end.
sorry that was meant to be typed as female to female coupler joining 2 male ends
again, not a pun

I run a primary Racor ahead of the lift pump. It has the clear lower bowl i can monitor and drain off water as needed. I change that fuel filter every 2nd oil change since I'm often burning off old furnace oil or WMO blend.
I changed the stock fuel filter on the engine to one with a closed bottom. Haven't decided on a specific interval.

I run the cheap G2 fram clear inline filter between the tank and lift pump....I change this one about every 6 months. I like the clear because I can see the gunge that builds up. I usually change the big fuel filter once a year.
But if I was to install the fuel pressure gauge set-up as suggested above....I probably could go longer between big fuel filter changes.
