You have two things working against you- the stock 21cm Lagmaster exhaust housing, and a stock (I assume) auto tranny complete with stock sloppy convertor. The convertor wont put enough load on the engine to make much boost.

How much did you turn it up? With a starting boost of around 14-15psi, 16 isnt unexpected if you only went half to a full turn.

The storied limit for stock head gasket is 45# but I run mine at 35# max. If you blow a head gasket or snap a bolt don't blame us. (But we want pics!)

You got to get in there and turn the fuel pin and make sure the little pin that rides on the fuel pin is moving. With the fuel pin out flip the throttle and you should see it pop out. Just use and small screw driver to push it back in.

The tranny was just rebuilt to tow. Its real tigh now. When i turned it up i turned the fuel screw 2.5 or 3 turns rotated the diaphram 120# and adjusted the smoke screw.

I think the exhaust housing is definitely hurting you, but I would check to make sure all cables connected to the pump are adjusted properly. See how much throttle travel difference there is between you pushing it to full fuel w/ your hand and then using the peddle. When you rotated the diaphragm, did you look at it to make sure it was going to the lowest side or just assume it was? I would also check for leaks again. Make sure your getting full boost pressure to the afc. Oh, and maybe check to see if the lift pump is working properly and fuel filter is flowing properly. Just my thoughts on it. Good Luck!

Pull your fuel pin and you should be able to see a fine line where the little pin rides on it. I had to hold mine in the sunlight and rotate it slowly...
Mine was on the narrow side and did not go all the way to the deepest part.

I carefully marked where the deepest part was on the diaphragm with a permanent marker, replaced the thick teflon washer with one half as thick - later replaced it with the .070 I've got now - and turned the smoke screw 2 3/4 turns down...Now I've got ol' smokey's pin in and had to back off the smoke screw 3/4 turn.

It's like I put a second engine in the truck compared to the original performance.

On my truck, with the fuel pin set to it's deepest, 2 turns on the smoke screw, and 3 turns on the power screw(I probably have lots left, haven't tried yet,) I'm running 27psi peak, compared to 14 stock. 18.5CM housing on my truck though, and, 5 speed vs auto... VERY large gain in power in my case.

I'm running 37psi on an 18.5 housing, but I have a converter, exhaust and intake. They all helped about 2-3psi each! I still say you should be over 20. Crank er up more and watch the pyro!

edit: oops oh yeah, I have injectors too.
