when it comes to timing and towing? Last summer i only made 1 short trip after i pushed my pump to the head and am a little concerned about making longer trips with the way my truck is set up now. I am only pulling my travel trailer which weighs about 6500 pounds.

should i retard the timing a little?

 

Now that you can actually put some load on the engine I'd suggest dropping it back the 1/8" for towing.

Off topic question. Say you got mods like zach doees.

When your pullin 6500# up a slight grade is it ok to ride on the W/M (if have it) to lower egt's? or will it hurt somthing

 

Yea it would be fine to be spraying while hauling a load depending on how you have it set up.
