how much is too much ?

After some advice I got from this post last night (thanks to all) I went out and put about 1/4 turn or so on the (power screw)on my pump,I got a noticable difference in power off of the line with just that little bit,I dont want to screw anything up so I was wondering how much turn is too much and can I safely go any farther with it ?

top rear side of the pump is where you adjust the idle back down. as far as, "too far" only high EGTs will tell you it's too far. you can run 1250 all day long and short bursts above that... there is a chart somewhere. these #'s assume the probe is PRE turbo.

"Too far" would also be a runaway condition.

Yes. Be very careful not to short out the shutoff solenoid.
