how much to swap to a 5 speed?

how much to swap to a 5 speed?
I have been really wanting to swap my auto to a five speed. how much is the average price to do this?
I have found a shop fairly close to home that will do the entire swap for me and keep my auto and charge right around 3 grand. Is this a good deal or should i look elsewhere?

Thats not a bad price, about what I paid for a used (beat up) NV4500, decent valair clutch and all the misc. goodies, mix of new and used parts. Oh and rebuilt the NV with new bearings and a coulpe syncros.
