Id hold off for the intercooler. Im running pods and hx35 4" exhaust and have no egt issues in daily driving. However I want more and am about to install an intercooler in the next couple weeks.

I'd let the EGT and driving needs determine whether I needed an intercooler. It's not hard to do if you have all the parts lined up. I didnt, and it turned difficult. Spent a day looking for a long bolt that I had in my basement (was doint the install at a buddy's house). Think of every little thing you might need, and it shouldnt be too hard. You have the 91 grille, so all you have to do is some work with a cut-off wheel and a welder.

I just did my 90 not bad at all. I did the kdp and replaced the seal for the crank since i had the front off.You will need to turn the intake plate so you can miss the master cyl. NEW GASKETS will be needed, and the throttle bracket will need some trimming, and a peice of pipe for a stand off on the back bolt on the throttle bracket. If you have a welder the fab part is very easy just take your time. The 1st gen intercooler and an hx35 added 55hp and 170ftp on my local dyno.
