How much did you pay for your first gen?

OK, with all the insane prices for 1st gens lately, this has prompted me to ask, "Just how much did you pay for your first gen?" Preferably the one you drive everyday/most often, there r those of u who have one too many more then me! (but it is a multiple choice poll!)

bought mine in 2000 with under 80k on it for 12k . haven't turned a bolt on it other than the headlite switch in seven years. going to need paint soon went thru a mild hailstorm on my watch. packed the wheelbearings. still under 90 on it. if i sale it in a couple years like to get the premium for under 100k miles. i wouldn't sell it for less than ten.

I bought mine back in 1999 after I totaled my Chevy 6.2.
I paid $17,000.00 for it and have since spent an additional $15,000.00 or so and counting getting it to the way it is now although it was in excellent condition when I bought it.

I bought mine new in Jan of 1993 - $22,500 - same price that I paid for my house in 1974. I just had it appraised for $8,000 back in Dec.
