How does this look?
DS motor mount vs....

PS mount

Ya, it's starting to show a little wear, but do I need to do them both?
How about this?

Is the wetness more likely oil from the valve covers or fuel? You can never see anything leaking but this area stays wet.
I've got a few more but I'll start a new thread for under truck pics

Wash the engine.
See if it creeps up to the valve covers or down to the injectors.
Fix accordingly.
PS side mount looks bad. Would seem normal as all the torque is applied to that mount.
Turbo looks fine.

Thanks for your reply.
I was expecting the turbo to be smooth or polished or something. When I pulled the hose off I thought I was screwed. It's fine as it sits?
I was already planning to do the PS mount but wasn't sure if that's something you have to do both at same time. So, I can do just the one?

I would replace both now because the other is likely weekened. A main cause of bad motor mounts is a bad trans mount. It lets the trans slide side to side and over time rips the motor mounts loose due to the twisting.
The oil is seaping out of the valve covers. They likely have not been changed after setting the valve lash. They are cheap, change them out and be sure the surface is clean. Should be fine.
The turbo looks fine, its common aluminum powder corrosion. Happens mostly when it sits alot. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll do all 3 mounts at once. Wheres the cheapest place to get them? Rock Auto?

How many different mounts does this truck have? gas/dsl man/auto is different for sure. What else?
I believe I need a 2710 motor mt, haven't looked up TM yet.
