sorry, theres not much other ways to get smoke if you dont have at least an EGT gauge to monitor things.

You have 369 horsepower with pods and a stock turbo and your only showing 1000 egt. Thats not right. I have 2 trucks at 300 hp and can hit 1500 plus empty.

That is not true i have had two buddies of mine crank there fuel screw in all the way and they both melted #5 pistons out of them because they didnt have gauges. if ur only hitting 1000* your pump probably aint tuned all the way to it full potential because i could max my 1600* pyro out no problem with pod's before i put twins on.

I dont care what any body says about smoke because almost all of us here have wanted smoke at one time or another. so an easy way to make some smoke without melting your engine is to take your spring out of the afc housing and rotate your pin to it deepest setting and that will give you a pretty good puff of smoke when your boost # are low. have fun with your smoke because i know i used to

i quit watchin my gauges along time ago, they got boring and i was loosing races because of them, another great way to get it to smoke is to pack the air filter with mud, or take an intercooler boot off.

Then mine is touched by the Diesel Demon. I can bury the EGT gauge in a quarter mile. And that is running empty.

Why does it take you so long ???
When I first put in my 6x.016's I still had my modified pin in and the first run I tried was with the wastegate disconnected - didn't need it with the stock sticks.
The 40 kicked out 57 psi and I saw 1500 in about 1/8 mi.
With the wastegate connected amd the stock pin turned shallow back in I still have to watch the egt's in a 1/4 - but it does take longer than an 1/8.
