So when looking in wrecking yards for a RWAL valve, do you have to use a 3/4 ton valve or will one off a 1/2 ton work just as well? Because around here 1/2 tons are easier to find.

has anybody contacted a dealer about one even?

Lots of things like this they have to make available.. or even repair at low cost due to federal mandates on safety. I know you can still get new brake booster pumps for free for my 89 XJ when they quit. The system almost ceases to function when it gos out!

Rock Auto has them online.

They are different depending on what size wheel cylinders the truck had. A 1/2 ton unit would be too small.

Hi All,
Kind Of Getting Away From The Main Issue, But I Have Have Some Lock Up Issues That I Resovlved After Removing My Abs. I Installed A Disc Brake Kit On The Rear Of My Truck, And Scrapped My Abs. What I Did Was Install A Adjustable Porportioning Valve On My Rear Brakes. When It Is Wet/slippery Outside, I Can Take Away Some Rear Brake, And When I Am Loaded I Can Add Some Brake. I Love It! If You Do This Though, You Have To Be Aware Of The Braking Condition For Each Trip , And Adjust Your Valve Accordingly. Just Thought I Would Throw This In For The People That Want To Bypass Their Abs.
