Does anybody know if these trucks are supposed to have a piece of weatherstripping at the rear of the hood against the cowl? Mine does not have any and there is sort of a large crack there for water to pour into the engine compartment.

 

Never seen any there on any 1st gen. It keeps the rear exhaust manifold stud nice and rusty, doesn't it?

 

drool! thats all i can do is drool. everytime i see "wannadiesel's" truck picture he has on his signature! Wannadiesel, you have an awesome looking truck! i love that deep plum or burgandy color on there. it totally looks great! i am considering painting my D250 clubcab from red and grey to burgandy and grey. since i live out here in california, we probably won't be bumping into each other too much! hehehehe!

 

Thanks for the compliment. Just don't get too close to it. Then you can see the peeling paint, rippled bed sides, misaligned doors, cracked dually fenders, bent bumper, and cracked grill. I do like the color combo, though.
