So here is my story:

I have been tweaking my truck for a while..well the other night I decided to go for gold


So here is what I have done..
No muffler
BHAF with airflow connectors and pipe
Inj pump rebuilt
turn HP screw as far as it will go without run away
turn smoke screw
fixed throttle linkage with new metal linkage
3200 Spirng
and a bunch more little things done.

well after all was done the other night I backed the truck out of driveway and just hit it..

HOLY CRAP HOLD ON!!!!

The tires just started spinning and the truck rocked down the road like never before.. it was amazing, I was having a hard time shifting fast enough to keep up with power of truck..

All I can say is for the little bit of money I have spent on this truck and for it to be 15 years old and still run like a top it just blows my mind.

If you have not turned up your power, etc you are missing out..

of course the downfall is now I want to do more

So my buddy came over with his 2003 CTD and he thought he was HOT stuff.. so while we were going to dinner he nailed it and I could stay right with him.. he just could not believe a 15 year old truck could get that much power just by turning a few screws

Sweet. I haven't tweaked mine quite as far as you, as my EGTs were getting to high for what I was using it for. But I have been having too much fun with it though. I have had more interest in tuning on it than my sports car. I can't wait to see what my stage III does.

I wonder what yours will dyno now?

 

i just had the dtr boys work on my truck out at the buck.....i know exactly what your talkin about......my buddy has a 05 ctd and he drove my truck the other night and he couldn't believe how the ol girl runs...........THANKS DTR!!!!
