Mine ran great until I out grew its fuel supply. Most everyone will be just fine with it. There are cheaper knock off ones that some guys on here have had great luck with, also there is carter that has close to the same flow and pressure rating. As far as I know my old one is still going strong in a old friends 24 valve and has 4 + years of use and a butt load of miles.

Let every one know what kinda truck you have and what is all done to it by filling out your signature.

From: In Oroville, Ca., same house for past 46 yrs!
I ran two of them in series and had no issues with fuel delivery after the stock lift pump went out after the warranty did too.
I now have installed 2 of the blue pumps and they work fine. I use the Banks system with a speedloader so I do have some output requirements. Probably not as high as some here though.

Define noise. My stack is really loud, but I could hear the pump at idle. Past idle didn't know it was there. Same story for my 165, but there is more vibration, I'll never complain about it though. If it was a stock truck then I would but since I'm trying to make a smoky race car out of an old heavy truck I can't expect it to sound like a new car.

User control panel, its at the top of the pop up window thing at the bottom of the page. You can change a bunch of stuff in there. Also the search function at the top of the 1st gen section will take you to a bunch of nice crew cab builds.

I'm looking at possibly installing one of these, either the blue or the black. Read a lot of old post about reliability issues but i see they, Holley, claims they redesigned them recently. Are any of you having issues with it or does it hold up good

Also what all is needed to install it?

And did you remove your stock lp and put a cover over the hole in the block?

Guess I'm going to just wait and save for something better. Mixed reviews on all the pumps but the Holleys and similar products don't have much for warranty. The bigger better pumps seem to have at least limited lifetime warranty. Doesn't take buying to many $150.00 pumps to wish you would have spent a little more and I'm just not to excited to buy a low pressure pump cause then again for a little more i can do a bigger electric unit and larger lines.
