HID conversion

I have the h4 conversion housing in a box need to put them in but has anyone put HIDs in these old trucks if so pictures please and the place u ordered them from

I have h4 HIDs in my truck. I purchased the conversion housings from autopal and the HID's locally.

I don't really have any pics but they are really easy to install.

unless you do the relay upgrade dont bother...

i did the H4 super bright/white bulbs and was better but not much then the originals..

the relays help.

HID's come with a built in relay, atleast the system i bought did.

i put hids in my first gen gasser i love em wouldn't ever go back.
bought the housings off ebay they are junk the chrome is peelin but the hids i got from vvme.com i have bought many sets off them havem for my 01 my quad my snowmoblie mud truck and the girl friends car very good quality. ones i put in the first gen are 8000k 55w i will try to get a picture of them tonight when it gets dark

This is the brand i have, i paid alittle extra for the premium unit. Smaller ballasts and overall better quality. I think it was about $170.

im doing a bmw dakar motorcycle right now, real tight install, slim ballast, and projector beam housing, with a solenoid cutout shield that drops down to a low beam, shielding light from oncoming drivers. only audi a6 type self leveling systems are legal in this country, youll need to study up on your application, and options, try the retrofit source, very helpful, and reasonable.

i would still do the relay conversion on the truck to take the load off of the headlight switch...
