Have any of you messed with a american bosch off a dt414 ia a international trcator or a dt 466 in a truck? I'm told that the distributor head is getting worn as it is hard to start but runs fine once its started, is there anyway to adjust this?thanks Terry

 

I ve had them off many times my friend. Hey whats this on a 1066 or 966 maybe a 1086. Usely if the head is worn theres not much left to do but fine a good used head cheap. Theres lots of these old pumps around any b series IH 414 436 466 will work their on lots of combines has well. Fined a inline pump off a 466 dt truck motor lots of hp their.

 

Its on a 986, any lines on a head?

 

Hey there a guy I know in westunion ohio by the name of paul yates he will have a good used pump. He pulls a 1066 an 1466 my cousin Kevin Boling may also have one were all IH nuts were I'm from. I will have to fined pauls number an give it to u. Mack Darnall in cynthiana Ky will have many of them he pulls the Maximum overdrive 1486 It use to be the Schiedster.

 

That would be great, a whole pump would be alot easier to swap, thanks
