Hello, I'm a new member, my name is Brad Scarbrough.

I'm new at this and have never done a post or thread so don't hesitate to let me know if I'm in the wrong spot On here. Ive just started restoring my dads old 1991 dodge cummins. I need a drivers door. The truck is an LE 250 and had electric windows so does anyone know if I can use a door that had Manuel windows or do I need one that has the electric ones? Will they interchange? Thanks for any help and I'll probably be back with a lot of other dumb questions.

Brad, I have moved this to the correct first gen forum, you had it in the classifieds, no worries, we are all newbies at one time. There is no difference in the doors between power and manual, so you will be good.

Brad, welcome to DTR. Go to your USER CP(control panel) at the top left of this page, and this will take you to an area where you can "fill out your sig(signature)". It's purpose is to show all here at DTR all about your truck- model year, modifications, add ons, mileage, all that stuff, like you see at the bottom of mine and PatDaly's posts. People on here usually look at that, so that their able to assist in answering your questions.

In the top right of a page, where it says WELCOME PAPAW, you will see an underlined sentence saying "your notifications", and in this area you can do a bunch of stuff like send private messages(PM) and stuff like that.

Lastly, at the very top of the very first page posting the newest treads, there's a tread called "The Sticky" or the how to section. If you click on that, it sends you to a link of very detailed how to sections on engine, tranny, electrical, etc., that members here have posted. These guys have done special things like take pictures on their work, which aids a lot of us in doing repairs and modifications. It a great resource. Lastly, there are part numbers listed( thanks to all that have contributed to that) that makes things easy when shopping for parts.

Good luck on your restoration.

That's good to know. I thought the doors were different.

Welcome to the Forum Brad.

You'll find a lot of good advice here. And a lot of good folk.

The door you need can come from any year with same body style whether 2x4, 4x4, 150, 250 or 350. Only really differences will be body moldings.

Other thing about this board, is if I'm mistaken - somebody will chime in and say so
