Smile Hello everybody

Hi, this is my first post and I have to say its nice to have access to a forum like this.

I'm just starting out on a first gen dodge project. I bought a 93 ext cab auto, its rust free but needs some work, particularly the interior. is there a source where I can get an entire carpet kit including real wall and door panels? what about seat swaps? any input is good input.

tks,
rjm

btw, this is pic

Hey superdodge welcome to the forum it is nice to have another first genner around. First fill out your sig you we can see what truck entitles. As far as interior parts, I just got done doing mine and I went to a local junk yard and they gave me a pretty good deal. Might want to check out ebay also.

Great to have you aboard
Ben

Welcome Superdodge! Local scrapyards are a good first bet when searching for 1st gen parts---you'd be surprised what some people will throw away. Beyond that, it seems like JC Whitney and the like tend to have carpets and such for older rigs. Like Whereswaldo said, fill out your signature in the user CP so we can see what you have every time you post.

Welcome to the site. That looks like a nice truck, and should be great with some new upholstery. I've seen a couple of those trucks where they took the jumpseats out of the back and replaced them with a custom made rear bench seat. Looked sharp, and I thought it made a great improvement. I have no idea where you'd get it made but I thought you might be interested.

If I knew that you lived in a medium-sized town or larger, I'd tell you to first look in the phone book Yellow Pages under Auto Uphosltery and just Upholstery -if there are any names that look like they might do what you want, sneak over and have a look at the shop and ask a few questions.

For instance, I found a guy that listed "Headliners" in his ad. For $75 I got a beautiful new-backboard headliner to match the gray interior, installed. I could no more do that myself than fly.

Welcome. Nice looking truck.

PS: I "googled" using "Cummins Floor Carpet" and found this joint:
http://www.stockinteriors.com/Model....c=Dodge_Carpet

No idea if they're any good, just a sample of what you can find with Google.

LMC truck is just getting ready to release their dodge catalogue. It should have almost every factory piece you can imagine. Also I have sold and installed many of the Nifty brand replacement carpets and they have all fit well and look good. Fairly cheap too.
