Hard starting 93
My 93 has developed a hard start condition. It has had a cold miss for a while and I planned to change injectors. I removed the return line from all 6 injectors and supply from the front 3 before figuring out I had the wrong injectors. I reassembled it and ran it for the weekend. The crank time increases the longer it sits so I think it's getting air in the system somehow. I see no visible fuel leaks but she leaks everything else so a minor leak in a hard to see area may be difficult to find. There is no fire then stall just cranking way to long. If shut off and left sit just a few minutes it starts like normal.
Is there anything to the return line I could have hurt moving it that could cause this?

hasn't been done since I've owned the truck. I was just thinking it should have something to do with me having been into the fuel system a bit.

it does smoke white and run like crap for a few seconds on start up. I guess the part I'm really wondering about is the could a return line cause this if it had a minor leak behind the head? I could see it being rusty back there and I moved it a little.
Otherwise it could probably use a lift pump at this point anyway as a maintenance item. Will a stock replacement pump keep up with my setup +40 horse injectors?

stock lift pumps are junk. Put a low pressure piston pump on there. Just by turnin up your pump and stock injectors can suck your fuel press down to 0. I'd go ahead and do it right and get a low pressure piston pump and check for air leaks in the lines also
