hard start
I just put on the different injector pump I got cause mine was bad. I got her started and fired up and it was running good, but it has a real hard time starting now. I did notice a slow drip of fuel leak from the bottom back from the pump. Could it be are getting back into my lines or my timing being off. The marks are lined up, but being a pump from a different truck could it need to be timed?

Was it a reman pump, or just used? If used, it could be leaking from the hydraulic head, necessating a refresh (and springs, while you're in there). Double check the line connections at the pump end. I've also had the delivery valve holders break loose when removing the pump from the engine.
There is also a screw or something of the sort on the underside, midway front to back, that I saw leaking on a truck I owned at one time (this was 2 owners and 4 years after me).
