What kind of boost numbers are you seeing?

You gotta love the way a hybrid sings!

If you're going to grind the AFC lever when you install the 3200 RPM spring you had better find the AFC spring and put it back.

Sweet, i cant wait till i get mine.

I spent the day fabbing up a floor pan and gutting the interior. Its in and I'm in the process of rubber lining the floor. I may get some dynomat too. I want to try and get rid of ALL the rattles and make it as quiet as a caddy inside.

Did you just order the $200 upgrade or get a whole new turbo? I think i'll need the full turbo as mine is only the baby H1C and i don't know if you can upgrade that one.

sammy 340,
you can indeed upgrade the baby h1c---e-mail htt and they'll be able to help you out. The problem with the non i/c trucks is getting the new compressor housing to mate to that blasted crossover pipe---it tends to be much smaller than the outlet of any compressor housing worth a darn...there are ways around it though

I have to fab up pipes anyway since i ended up with an intercooler off a 04 Powerstoke, so the crossover pipe will be biting the dust. Do you know if we can get the upgrade for $200 just like everyone else with Big H1C's?

The non i/c h1c has a 3 inch inlet...the i/c h1c has a 4'' inlet. the 4'' inlet h1c led up to the wh1c...the bigger inlet made room for the MWE slots. You can actually cut MWE slots into the 4'' inlet h1c and PRESTO! wh1c Both little and big inlet compressor housings clamp to the center section in the same way, so a stage III htt housing will naturally clamp to either one.

Took bout 5mins (half of which i spent lookin for a needle nose vice grips.) 2 Clamps and the compressor housing is off then just clamp needle nose vice grips on the compressor wheel and get it off. put the new one on and put the new housing on clamp the compressor housing on and clamp the intercooler pipe to it and install ur air intake. done.

Wow! I think you just made up my mind on what to do with my setup for a while at least. I thought you needed to have a shop do the work and to ballance the assembly. I had no idea it could be so simple. I know what my next purchase is now.
