Guage Pod question

I know i'm probably asking alot of questions but this is my first 1st gen i have ever owned and not sure where to start looking for aftermarket parts, or if they are even available. i'm looking to see if there are any "A" piller guage pods for the first gens or if i have to go with a dash mount type. thanks

I got mine from Glowshift and i don't think i would buy it again. I'm tall and it still points the gauges too far up at the roof. I cant really see the bottom of the gauges.

Autometer makes a dual gauge a-pillar pod, available from many Autometer distributors, including www.genosgarage.com. It doesn't point up as bad as other dual a-pillar pods on the market.

Here is a pic of the AutoMeter brand. That is my normal driving view. I am 6' tall.

The Pro Pod brand has the gages at a steeper angle. Geno's Garage handles the Pro Pod's brand.

Negative, I just ordered another one from Geno's for the crew cab, Autometer brand- Gauge Works, not Pro Pod. They don't list it as Autometer on their site or in their catalog, but if you look at the part number, you can verify it's genuine on Autometer's website. About the only good thing from Autometer.

Same here, on the second boost gauge. If this one quits it's going Isspro. I do however recommend the pillar pod, also from Geno's Garage.

You could just build your own. I saw this on pavementsucks.com years ago. If you notice it's the stock A pillar trim and some PVC.

If you are unsure of what it might take, you could look at MP3Car site. They specialize in discussion around car pc's but they have a nice fabrication forum. You would have to adapt what they are doing for guages... http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/fabrication/

I plan on doing something similar to that picture I posted, but probably with a triple pods. It's going to be awhile though before I get to that part.
