govern screw

Who do i turn this up a bit adn what will it help? im gogin to turn the govern screw but i dunno how. ill do anything to get more power. i dont care if you told me that running the blinkers woudl make it go faster i would. lol

should net you about 300 rpms, i maxed mine and thats what i got. its right on teh fender side of teh pump, lossn jam nut and back off screw counter clockwise. (have someone floor the pedal inside and screw the screw back untill it just starts to lose contact with the strike plate.

It will depend on the truck/engine/pump but normally you'll be able to get up around 2800 RPM without needing to make other adjustments to go higher...
Some will run up to 2800-2900 others will only hit 2700'ish....
Remember that the governed speed is one thing and the defuel point is another.
Again, that is roughly 300 RPM or so lower than governed speed...

too much effort spun, just run the hazards that way you can hold the wheel better at higher speeds and focus.
